Podcasts

In our spring-quarter multimedia course, each student creates an original podcast under the guidance of a professional radio producer. The podcasts, between four and five minutes long, accompany the feature stories in Science Notes. The students must choose one aspect of the feature to capture in audio, conduct interviews in the field with Zoom recorders, record ambient sounds, write a script, record their own narration, and edit the package.

In addition to publishing the podcasts in each summer edition of Science Notes, we have archived them on SoundCloud, dating to the class of 2013. Put on your headphones and enjoy the productions.
